Over the coversthe highly anticipated album of T-Pain covers is now available through Nappy Boy Entertainment.
When T-Pain won the first season of FOX The Masked Singer, the audience was amazed by his penetrating, silky, non-autotuning voice. The album features a varied and unexpected mix of reimagined favorites, each with a special meaning to T-Pain.
Over the covers includes creative covers of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come”, “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey, “Sharing The Night Together” by Dr. Hook, “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith, “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton, ” Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life” featuring NandoSTL (Nappy Boy Entertainment artist) and Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” and interlude “Skrangs” (K Major Sus).
“Each of these songs means something to me and helped me fall in love with music at different times in my life. I release this album of covers in terms of what I hear when I listen to each song. I can’t wait to share with the world what I’ve been working on for the past few years,” T-Pain said.
